This was going to be a post with an embedded YouTube video. I was hoping for Michelle Shocked’s Streetcorner Ambassador, but it is not to be found. From the brilliant Captain Swing album. Hippie lyrics aside, it’s a great tune.

Then I thought The Smiths, I Know It’s Over, from another great album that you ~~probably~~ should already own, The Queen is Dead. But all the videos were all emo and Moz fan shrines, quite embarrassing really.

Instead, find these songs (hint: they are linked up above so you can download them from Amazon) and give them a listen. You shouldn’t be disappointed. If you are, you’re only out $1.98.
