My New Thing
Since I am back to fixing computers again, I have taken on another task.
The first task, as you may already know, if you help rid the world of Internet Explorer v6. No need to go into that any further than I have in the past.
The new task I have assigned myself to help users be able to use their Windows Vista Computers by upgrading them to Windows 7. While I haven’t played with Windows 7 much myself, I do know that almost every aspect of it is better than Vista, and the upgrade pricing is reasonable.
I have ordered my copy of Windows 7 already and will be installing it on the Asus within the next week. I’m fairly excited about it actually, and it gives me a reason to use the external DVD drive I picked up last month. I don’t even remember why I did, but I’m stuck with it, so I might as well use it.
Finally, this is also going to be the year that I get my customers to start backing up. I’ve already installed 2 drives this month and hope to get at least 2 more installed before going into February.
Oh yea, watch for a new wtf video hour soon. Viddler and YouTube from now. I can’t wait to record one!
