Why am I here?
To start the new year, I thought I’d go ahead and work on my category organization just a little bit. Even started a new one to get the ball rolling. Shall we go ahead and break it in?
I really hate complete and total lack of communication. It’s ok to ask me to do something, but if you get it done otherwise please let me know. Don’t make me drive 30 miles roundtrip in the rain to find out. Also, don’t ask me to do something if you really didn’t want me to do it in the first place, retask it to someone else and then don’t bother to let me know that it’s been done so that I have to do it all over again.
Here’s another one. When changes are coming, please notify me of the changes. If those changes are changed, even the slightest bit, it’s still fairly imporant that you keep me in the loop. This one is kind big because it could really affect customers the wrong way, not to mention add to my level of frustration.
I honestly can not imagine going through my professional career with these kinds of communication skills, or lack of. Besides being madening, in my opinion it shows a complete and total lack of organization. Not only do I really hate this, but I’m almost positive that if I were to have these types of communication skills I would still be wearing a name tag and making $6.75 an hour.
The technology is here gang and it isn’t going away any time soon…
