From your phone
I’m typing this on my Droid Incredible. A blog post. From my phone. And it takes pretty kick ass photos. And does email. Hell, there is even an app that will let me take remote control of your pc or Mac. FROM MY TELEPHONE! a device who’s main function is wireless voice communications. Most of you can do this too. Sure, we don’t have flying cars, but we do have telephones that...

My Week So Far
Since last Saturday I have driven from LA to Phoenix to Las Vegas to Salt Lake City to Grand Junction to Winter Park to Denver. All told, close to 1500 miles logged on the MINI I drove and it has been an epic experience! Meeting new friends, catching up with old, brilliant scenery and, of course, this fantastic little car called the MINI Cooper have made it an experience unlike any other. ...

The Drunk Mustard
n - Any message sent or received via touch-screen enabled smart phone where auto-correct on the device has made changes to a word, sometimes with comical results. It was back in August of 2010. MINI Takes the States was just starting and my friend was out having cocktails in the City of Brotherly love. A barrage of text-messages were flying from coast to coast for most of the evening when I...

Record scratches are timeless
clientsfromhell: Client: “I want there to be a noise here so people know it’s funny, like a record scratch!” Me: “Okay, but record scratches are kind of corny and totally 90’s. How about anything else that would have the same effect?” Client: “No. It needs to be a record scratch. Record scratches are timeless.”

Kissing on the TeeVee
Catching up on my Hulu queue this evening. Just me and a ice cold bottle of Widmer after a particularly bad afternoon. I was watching one of the shows that I’m not remembering right now (more than likely due to the 2nd glass of wine sitting next to me) when they started makin’ out right on the screen. I mean, ew, right? I’m all about makin’ out, but do the...

I will say that phone can edit video. This is a great short film, remarkably shot and edited on the new iPhone. “Apple of My Eye” - an iPhone 4 film (by Michael Koerbel)

Live Tweeting
Usually you see people live tweet big events like WWDC or a concert or celebrity appearance of some sort. As I don’t get the chance to attend those kinds of events, I have to take whatever I can get. So, I took my nieces 8th grade graduation ceremony. It reads backwards, just like Twitter Ok. My work here is done. Screamed the name. Can I leave now? #iwillbedrinkingtonight ...
