Covering a few topics here, since I haven’t really posted anything in a few days…

The rain…I heard it never rains in California, except when the year starts with a 2 and ends with a 4 or 5. It rained, non-stop, at home for the last week, just like everywhere else. Remarkably the lake hasn’t started to flood, although every major spring in the Cleveland National forest has been uncovered and is running at full strenght, making a huge mess of the roads. At least Ortega Hwy. is still open.

House Hunting…Actually have been doing this a bit more, trying to get it in my head that once I do buy something, the lad and I will be living off dog food. $300K for, what they call, a condo? Will upstairs neighbors? Without direct access to the garage? That, my friends, is not a condo. That is an apartment. Man, it was ugly. If I were to get into something like that, I guarantee that I would just get all bent out of shape just walking in because I would be realizing that I’m paying probably $800 more than rent would be (not including any association fees) for something that I wouldn’t really ‘own’. Ugh.

Job Hunting…Yea, well. Time. I need the time.
