Wikipedia for example contains vast amounts of knowledge.
The Wordpress Codex is a wiki that contains almost everything there is to know about wordpress.
Now, there is Wikihow.com, The How-To Manual That Anyone Can Write or Edit. You can learn such important things in life as escape from a sinking car, proper Sushi Etiquette, how to flush a water heater and even how to apply conditional formatting in Excel for you numbers weirdo.
Anyway, it’s pretty cool and something I thought all y’all could actually get some use out of.
Are you kidding me? 20 years later?
Los Angeles – September 15, 2006 - Members of the 80s rock band The Knack today filed a lawsuit against the members of Run DMC, and Run DMC’s producers, distributors, publishers and record companies, over Run DMC’s use of an unlicensed sample of The Knack ’s 1979 platinum hit “My Sharona” in Run DMC’s song, “It’s Tricky.”
You can read the whole piece from Rolling Stone here
Rediculous. No, this is recockulous. I mean, hello? It’s been 20 years? And, as mentioned in the article, this song was HUGE! They couldn’t have said something then? You know, strike while the iron is hot and all that.
What a bunch of idiots. We are all doomed. Doomed I say, DOOMED!
You might ask yourself, what if I were to digg a little.
I’m sure you would have found this:
It’s not as good as a cement truck being vaporized, but it is pretty clever. Worth a watch anyway. Be sure to watch the whole thing, all the way to the end. Great stuff, especially if you were ever a fan of the muppet show.
And, might I say, it’s about time.
Went to the local Kohl’s today. HUGE sale on, among other things, Henckle knives. I must admit, right here, right now, that my knife drawer is embarrassing. I have an old Henckle 6″ chefs knife that I’ve been using for about 15 years that recently had the tip break off, plus a nice serrated knife I picked up at Smart and Final. That, and a bunch of others that, really, I should just throw in the trash.
Anyway, today I picked up the following:
5-in. Santoku Knife: Hollow Edge
It’s a little on the light side, but man it chops great!
And:
8-in. Chef’s Knife
A proper chef’s knife. Great weight, nicely balanced. If you need an all-around kick ass knife, this is the one to get.
Why Henckle? I’ve always liked them. Sure they are spendy (these 2 cost me right about $90), but for the money, I don’t think you can beat ‘em!
Now I just have to re-learn how to use sharp knives again. Watch for more recipes I’m sure!

For those of you a bit too young to remember…
Classic Andy Kaufman. I think I actually saw this when it first aired. Yes, I’m that old.
