From the F-Secure blog about the latest Sober virus that went around:
Now, turns out somebody in Padenborn, Germany got this message, freaked out about it and decided to turn himself in. Whoa. German police investigated his computer and found child porn from it.
Sicko. Served him right for being so stupid.
Never thought I would come across this following a link from digg, but the day has finally come. This has got to be the worst written article I have ever tried to read. Ever.
The writter is afraid that the upcoming Pixar film, Cars, is going to suck and proceeds to explain it in 1 run on sentance after another. No paragraph breaks, no flow in the writing.
It’s really too bad. I’m sure there is a good idea there someplace. I guess I’m just feeling too lazy at 2:00AM to dig it out.

That I always seem to forget about. Most of you already know, but there are some that might not. The site?
Waiter Rant. Man, this guy puts up some great stuff, like…
(On relationships) “If it isn’t fun in the beginning – forget it.” – female coworker “When you first get married you should be having sex in every room of the house.” - same female coworker “Marriage is society’s recognition of a deep spiritual and psychological process that occurs between two people. Most couples skip the process and just get married.” – my therapist
Good stuff. Worth the bookmark for sure if you haven’t done it yet.
Why all the hubub about MS dropping support for IE on the mac at the end of the year? This has been on the books for like 18 months at least, maybe longer. It’s not that big of a deal. I mean, if you are using a Mac, why in the world would you want to use IE anyway? I mean, try pulling msn.com with it. ick.
And, I have to say. Diggin’ all the hot new goodness being created with AJAX, but this too is old news. MS sorta started doing this back in the IE 5 days, except they called it dHTML. Some JS, some nifty CSS tricks and clever use of HTML and boom! worked slick, but you had to use IE for it to work.
In other news…
Thinkin’ about doing the WP upgrade. But as long as I’m getting 404’s and the codex is kinda busted, I’m not doing nothing! I’ll have to check it out this weekend.
Ok, this looks pretty cool. There is a shop in South Carolina that is trading CD’s for iPods…
45 CDs = 512 MB iPod Shuffle 65 CDs = 1 GB iPod Shuffle 85 CDs = 2 GB iPod Nano 110 CDs = 4 GB Nano 130 CDs = 30 GB iPod 175 CDs = 60 GB iPod
I could trade in what I have, assuming they all meet the quality criteria, and get 4 4GB Nano’s. I think that might take care of next Christmas right there.
