So, there are few left over from the BBQ yesterday.
Anyone know why beers from last nights ice chest are colder than if you pull them out of a vat of liquid nitrogen? The greatest thing since sliced bread right there.
Otherwise, BBQ went off without a hitch last night. Everyone got plenty of goodness from el grill de db.
The lads mom is gone again. This time she says for good, time will tell.
The lass left her sweatshirt here last night. /me thinks on purpose. Only time will tell.
Happy Father’s day to those of you that are so afflicted.
And, keep those fingers crossed for the lad if you would. He had a crappy year. He knows it. He tried hard to make up for it, but still did not manage, we think, to pass the 7th grade. There is a small chance that his report card will be tagged with the summer school option, and that’s what we are hoping for right now. Anything to avoid repeating the 7th grade at the same school, right?

The trick gang, is to let your ‘blog act like your personal paper journal. Don’t tell anyone about it unless you really really trust them. Then, I know it’s just a matter of google/yahoo/msn taking it’s course, but really, it’s your fault if you bitch about your boss and I can find your name on your blog someplace, right? C’mon now.
Oh yea, BBQ at el casa en el Sabado! Sorry if you didn’t get your invite, but I kinda suck when it comes to those kinds of things. Besides, I’m not sure if I have enough food for about 6 of you (the other 2 can come on down, and bring guests if you like 
).

Yet another earthquake today that we could feel in SoCal. Click the link for more info.
Again, it was just a baby quake (only 5.3) centered about 50 miles from el casa, 80 or so from the office (mileage as the crow flies).
A moderate earthquake occurred at 20:53:25 (UTC) on Thursday, June 16, 2005. The magnitude 5.3 event has been located in the GREATER LOS ANGELES AREA, CALIFORNIA. The hypocentral depth was estimated to be 12 km ( 8 miles). (This is a computer-generated message — this event has not yet been reviewed by a seismologist.)
Reports of damage in San Bernadino near the epicenter have come in as well as at least 1 injury in Lake Arrowhead. It was felt as far south as San Diego, as far north as Ventura county (which is practically Oregon anyway, so it doesn’t really count).
