Yes, I said snow! I’m not kidding! And it was really cold. Well, not like snobo-monkeys-in-the-hills-of-Nebraska cold, but for SoCal it was pretty damned chilly.

I had to help someone today again that is experiencing severe browser hijacking. I gave him the Firefox/Adaware-SpyBot/Windows update trifecta and hope I don’t have to reload the machine.
I know I must be sounding like a broken record by now, but I only repeat myself in hopes that you will help to spread the word!
Remember (esp. for you broadband users): 1. DO NOT USE INTERNET EXPLORER! w(t)f recommends Mozilla Firefox. 2. Buy a router/firewall to connect everything too. Software works, but the little blue box is better. 3. Download, install and run on a regular basis Ad-Aware and Spy Bot - Search and Detroy. 4. Install Anti-virus and keep it up-to-date! w(t)f recommends Norton, but there are some free packages that work equally well. 5. Run windows update on a regular basis! Better still, have it set to download and install automatically*
