This may just be my cynical side speaking, but…
- Am I the only one not buying the ‘member friendly’ attitude of the new AOL commercials? C’mon, don’t lie
- In a fresh pack of smokes, there is a pamphlet in the wrapper directing me to a website by Phillip Morris on how to quit smoking. Perhaps the lack of smoke will stregthen my craving for cheese?
- CSI on Spike TV tonight. Must be close to Halloween, ’cause they picked all the super gross ones to show. Definitely *not* warm and fuzzy
- Potential thivery at the detail shop.
Actually, the last one does make me a little fuzzy, but that’s only because I get to help bust ‘em.

8 new episodes? Isn’t that like 3 seasons in West Wing time?
Me? I’ll be all over it like flies on shit…stink on sock a bum on a ham sandwich.
So, woke up at 4AM this morning to the sound of what must have been 100mph gusts ripping through the trees, threatening to tear the roof off the house.
So, I’m kinda cranky today, but you can blame ma nature for that.
Since I was up, I had some work to do anyway. After coffee, I got started. It’s always amazing how much work I can get done that early in the morning. I rebuilt POS check files at 6 sites, reprocessed a days worth of sales data, processed the entire month of September’s sales data and checked some POS settings that I think I f’ed up yesterday.
Now, just installing DSL and gift cards at one of the last sites to get it. Nice thing about the rain is that the car washes are closed. Well, nice for me when I have to get work done, but bad for the company.
More later if I continue to get bored inbetween Windows NT 4.0 restarts.
I’m watching the news this morning (still raining, plus the wind woke me up, but that’s another post) and I see a new commercial for Ikea. Dude has some people over for wine and what not. He starts pulling wine glasses out of the cabinet. 1. 2. Oops, no more wine glasses, so out comes the rocks glass with the strawberry. Still no wine glasses, so out comes the mega sized orange plastic cup with some rodent on it.
Hmmm. It was funny on TV.
Not raining right now, but it is supposed to be on and off for the next 3 days.
But, do the morning news people really have to say ‘don’t wash your car’?
