Yes, again…
They kiss. The motorcade pulls up and CJ heads off, turning, with a smile, to say “I have to go to work now”. She turns back and heads toward the motorcade, smiling with a discernable bounce in her step.
Fast forward about 30 minutes…
Simon walks into a corner liquor store to get a Milky Way bar and, with a smile, a flower. The clerk keeps saying no. Simon keeps insisiting until he notices the cash til is empty. He turns and puts a guy on the floor, presumeably a suspect. He ties the guy up and goes back to get his candy bar because he really needs it. He walks to the counter and bad guy #2 shoots 3-4 shots, all hit center mass.
fast forward a few more minutes
The lead agent breaks the news to CJ. She starts to aimlessly wander the streets, crying uncontrollably until she finally sits and continues to mourne her loss
C’mon now. If you aren’t watching this show, please tell me why. The build up for this took place over 3 episodes. The writing is beyond brilliant. No kidding.
If you don’t believe me, go ask John. He practically wet himself when season 1 finally came out on DVD and it’s all he’s been watching since he got it.
It’s a great show people. Get on board before it ends.
Who’s idea was this? bring back the ever popular, ever adjustable, ever breatheable trucker hat? C’mon now gang…
These are the hats that I wore during little league games as a kid. Big bug catcher on the front, mesh in the back and the stainless steel capped hard plastic spike that lives dead center on the top of the cap, acting like target for a wayward ball (or a buddy trying to be a prankster and looking for a serious ass-kicking). These things don’t even block the sun, which is the #1 reason for wearing a cap in the first place. They did provide the illusion of an additional 4″ in height to the wearer, so there is that.
These caps aren’t comfortable either. The are either so loose that they spin around on your noggin’ or so tight as to cause an excrutiating migraine headache. That, or how you kids are wearing ‘em, they just blow off your head the next time a trash truck rolls by.
And, I don’t care if you are wearing the damn thing forward, backwards or sidewards, you still look like an idiot with this thing on your skull.
Now then, if you are lookin for a kickin cap, you gotta get you one of these:

Or, more accurately, a lack thereof.
I’m all reved up for a new West Wing tonight. The lad’s in bed and I’m all comfy on the couch for it. But do I get it? NOOOOOO! Instead, it’s a special 2 hour Law & Order? WTF is that?
I don’t know if there was a new West Wing last week or not because I missed it due to a manager meeting. And the week before was another special 2 hour Law & Order. So, that makes me down a crap load of West Wing. AcK!
At least Bravo is showing a cool series of ‘em this week, right?
I am. Really.
I’m tired of completing the same task more than one time because others feel the need to make minor changes that really don’t effect anything.
I’m tired of babysitting. Not real babysitting mind you, which I actually enjoy. It’s the constant hand holding and reminding of adults that are too lazy to learn anything on their own or complete assigned tasks on time that I’m tired of.
I’m still tired of being a nice guy. I did try to not be a nice guy, lasted about a week and it ruined my weekend.
I’m tired of Christmas already, and there are still 15 more days until it’s over.
I’m tired of hearing the same crappy music on the radio.
I’m tired of my commute and equally frustrated that I can not afford to more closer to work.
I’m tired of doing dishes.
I’m tired of being tired.
