MINI United Interview #2
Shawn Ticehurts took some time out with us again this morning for a more detailed update of the goings on at MINI United 2007. Only 3 more weeks gang!
He fills us in on what’s going on during the event including most of the live entertainment, the track schedule and beach activities! Plus, a few surprises. Of course he couldn’t let us know about those. They wouldn’t be much of surprise if he...

Robert’s Soundseeing Tour #18
Robert has really out done himself this time and think you all will be very pleased!
Robert says.
I spent part of Saturday at a track 200 kms from Toronto (www.shannonville.com). We met racers from Toronto and Montreal. Yesterday was MINImeet.ca reunion day.
I recorded amazing sound from the track. Before the rides, in the car (with a pro who talks through the whole track, MINI...
White Roof Radio Live!
Come check out White Rood Radio as it happens. We’re doing two shows tonight that are being broadcast live courtesy of ustream.tv. And not only can you see us do the show, but you can ask questions in the comment section of this post. During our second show (generally in the 2nd hour of recording) we’ll be reading those questions and answering them live.
Since this is video, we are doing...

Mac Notes - 2 months in…
So it’s been 2 months.
I’ve ranted.
It broke. I got it fixed.
I ranted some more.
I ranted some more, but only to Josh, who was always ready with a link to fix whatever I was ranting about.
So, it’s been 2 months.
I’m not going to lie and tell you that I have completely fallen in love with this machine and have signed up to be a card-carrying member in the Apple Fan Boy Society (AFBS),...
It can always be worse
Besides myself and John, I’m not sure if any of you are Studio 60 watchers.
At the very end of the last episode…
The show goes bad. Very very bad. The Prop master union goes on strike before the show, taking the cue card guys with them. Chaos ensues. Allison Janey, playing herself as guest host, gets the brunt of all the eff ups.
The show ends with Allison saying thank you when a German...

It’s too hot
A minor bout of something I’m dealing with right now. Woke up in a pool of sweat. I’m pretty sure the fact that it’s about 117 inside my house when it’s only 58 outside has something to do with it.
So, reading ensues.
From The Queen, and since I haven’t made a list post in a while, how about 7 things you don’t know about me. Sure, why not. Hell, it might help me to sleep.
Let’s begin shall...
Woofcast #160
Another live show, courtesy of ustream.tv.
We gave Todd the night off so he could work on getting his house ready to sell. I would also like to start by apologizing for the audio quality. I just couldn’t get the levels right. It will be better next week!
WRR is now on Facebook for those of you that play there. You can check out the WRR Group here.
We do spend some time talking about...
Woofcast #159
News of the week from Motoringfile.com with db and Gabe. Todd was busy with house stuff this week, so we let him have the night off.
For those of you that missed it, we did broadcast the show live via ustream.tv with both audio and video! It was actually so cool that we will be doing that again this week. Check back on Thursday between 6:30PM PST and 8:30PM PST. The video is quite good and...

Missing a piece
Yea, hitting 156K miles isn’t all wine and roses. Little things happen.
For example:
Lost the front piece during AMVIV. I remember it like it was yesterday [cue dream sequence music]
Had to make a run for water, lunch and a quick meet up with my Mom up in Henderson, which was about 20 miles or so from the Palace Station casino. Also, Roxy was pretty dirty and I knew there was a pretty...
Woofcast #158
Before I even start, just a quick note to the affliates we do go long tonight. I trimmed about 7.5 minutes out. Watch for an out-take show later in the week.
So, more talk about MINI United. I have my passport and ticket just like everyone else, so we must be good to go.
Then we spent some time talking about Gabe’s R56 spec. And just a lot of things in general. We think you’ll enjoy the...

Yet another busy weekend, hence the lack of a Sunday Post.
Spent most of my morning on Saturday booking my flight to Amsterdam. Sure, you’ve seen the pics and whatnot, but this is what really happened.
I punch up ba.com to get my flight booked. Get all the legs of my journey loaded up and I’m sitting here, credit card at the ready, entering my information.
I click submit and the page...
Woofcast #157
Ah yes. Another Sunday, another Woofcast. Of course, it’s news of the week from Motoringfile.com, but not before we spend some time discussing why Gabe’s eyes are red, bleeps and beeps and cursing during the show, this video (very much not safe for work) and staying at Buckingham Palace.
If you are looking for older shows, I have updated the archive page to Woofcast #150 if you are looking to...

Travel Plans
With only 30 days left, I thought it might be a good idea to hammer out the travel details:
So, for those of you that are interested, Todd and I will be in London on June 19th, heading over to Oxford to tour the plant that afternoon. Then we’ll check out the city and whatnot on June 20th and head over to Amsterdam on Thursday, June 21st to start getting ready and get everything setup.
